The Delta Independent Science Board will meet on May 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Lake Natoma Inn (702 Gold Lake Drive, Folsom, CA 95630) to discuss its reviews and activities.
- Meet the 2025 Delta Science Fellows
The Delta Science Program is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Delta Science Fellowships. These graduate students and post-doctoral scholars have been awarded up to two-year fellowships to conduct critical science investigations on high-priority Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta issues identified in the 2022-2026 Science Action Agenda. Fellows are paired with research mentors from academic institutions and community mentors from state and federal agencies to maximize the impact of their research.

The Coequal Goals
The Delta Stewardship Council was created in legislation to achieve the state mandated coequal goals for the Delta. "'Coequal goals' means the two goals of providing a more reliable water supply for California and protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Delta ecosystem. The coequal goals shall be achieved in a manner that protects and enhances the unique cultural, recreational, natural resource, and agricultural values of the Delta as an evolving place." (CA Water Code Section 85054)
