Delta Science Proposal Solicitation Notice Application Webinar

Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PDT

 

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and the Delta Science Program (DSP) will conduct two online public application workshops for the Delta Science Proposal Solicitation Notice (Solicitation). Funding for the Solicitation is available from CDFW’s Proposition 1 Delta Water Quality and Ecosystem Restoration Program for Fiscal Year 2019-2020, Delta Science Program (DSP), Delta Stewardship Council, and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. 

 

This workshop is optional and not required as part of the application process. The workshop was recorded and posted online along with a copy of the presentation. A second application workshop is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. on October 17, 2018; check CDFW’s website for Web conference access information.

Coequal goals

The Delta Stewardship Council was created in legislation to achieve the state mandated coequal goals for the Delta. "'Coequal goals' means the two goals of providing a more reliable water supply for California and protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Delta ecosystem. The coequal goals shall be achieved in a manner that protects and enhances the unique cultural, recreational, natural resource, and agricultural values of the Delta as an evolving place." (CA Water Code §85054)
