Draft Delta Science Proposal Solicitation Notice Public Webinar

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and the Delta Science Program (DSP) will conduct an online webinar to discuss a joint draft Delta Science Proposal Solicitation Notice (Solicitation) that includes CDFW Proposition 1 Delta Water Quality and Ecosystem Restoration Program’s science topics for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 and the Delta Stewardship Council’s funding from state and federal sources. The draft Solicitation is available on CDFW’s website.

 

The CDFW and the DSP will inform the public of the priorities and requirements for funding, then gather public input and comments that will help finalize the Solicitation. Presentation materials and webinar recording will be made available online.

Coequal goals

The Delta Stewardship Council was created in legislation to achieve the state mandated coequal goals for the Delta. "'Coequal goals' means the two goals of providing a more reliable water supply for California and protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Delta ecosystem. The coequal goals shall be achieved in a manner that protects and enhances the unique cultural, recreational, natural resource, and agricultural values of the Delta as an evolving place." (CA Water Code §85054)
